We’ve been buying Finca El Puente coffee from Moises & Marysabel Herrera since our first visit to Honduras in 2012.Their relentless hard work has garnered them many awards over the years, and they continue to grow and improve. This Catuai lot from La Francisca is our first offering from their 2025 crop, and it’s a great example of what Honduras coffee can be when it’s done right! Moises & Marysabel’s ever-lauded quality is a result of the responsibility they take to improve their workers’ livelihoods, their land, and their coffee—year after year. Notes from our Roaster

La Francisca is a great debut of this year’s El Puente single origins! This washed-processed coffee offers malic acidity, reminiscent of an apple, and a caramel and pecan sweetness. With coffees as traditionally sweet as La Francisca—a “4” on our Taste Guide—count on them being approachable, easy to dial in the brew, and easy to enjoy!
