Q:

Why is the coffee I bought last time not available now? Why can’t I sign up to subscribe to my favorite single-origin coffee all the time?

A:

We rotate our single-origin offerings for several reasons. Coffee is a plant, and so it degrades over time; it also has different harvest times in different regions around the world. We seek to offer consistency to our customers through our blends, and keep our single-origin coffee always exciting and new.

Q:

Why don’t I see "Fair Trade" coffees? What is farm-source or direct trade, and why is that important?

A:

We prioritize relationships over certifications. We want to know the source of our food, and coffee is no different. “Farm Source” is our program to buy coffee at its origin with strict standards for quality, traceability, and responsibility. You can read more about it here.
