Tart Cherry, Licorice, Sage
|Chanchamayo, Peru||1650 m|
We first found out about Nelly Lanazca through a new friend of ours -- Paul Cebel. Paul works an exporter in Oxapampa, hidden within the Pasca region of Peru known for its coffee production and export. Paul helped us find Nelly and her coffee. The soil on her farm is comprised of acrylic loam, which contributes to a unique and healthy soil composition. This connection to Nelly is both new and promising as we're forming a new relationship with Peruvian coffee. One that Oak Cliff Coffee has not had until now. Look for notes of tart cherry, licorice, and sage.
