|Guji, Ethiopia||2100 meters|
The Guji region of Ethiopia is incredibly well-known for the caliber of coffee grown there. Historically, the Guji zone was part of the greater Sidamo region of Ethiopia. It has since been distinguished as its own region due to the exemplary flavor profile of its coffees. The Dimtu washing station is owned and managed by husband and wife, Gizaw Alemayu and Frehiwot Mekonnen. Over 6,000 small lot farmers deliver their coffee cherries to his washing stations in order to be dried processed. Look for notes of blackberries and orange candy with a syrupy body.
