Mrs. Gemedech Fulasa inherited her family farm from her parents back in 2011. Since then, she's created quite a sustainable operation. The 4.5 hectare farm lies in the Idedo region of Yirgacheffe and employs many permacultural practices. Enset trees collect and retain water during the rainy season which helps water the surrounding vegetation and coffee trees throughout the dry season. Additionally, she composts the coffee pulp by-product from her coffee processing which dramatically reduces her farm's footprint. Look for notes of blueberry, raspberry jam, lavender.
