Nestled high along the western slope of the Baru Volcano, Kotowa, meaning ‘mountain’ in the native Ngobe language, is located in the Boquete region of Panama. The estate was first established in 1913 by Alexander Duncan MacIntyre, a Canadian settler. Four generations later, Ricardo Koyner, Alexander’s great grandson, is managing the farm and producing some of Panama’s most exceptional coffees. We’re thrilled to offer you this demonstration of legacy and livelihood. Look for notes of apricot, brown sugar, and amaretto.
