The Gichugu Mill collects and processes cherries from the Gakundu Farmer’s Copperative. Formed in the 1970s, the mill has since served over eight hundred participating small lot producers. The Gichugu Mill exclusively employs a washed-processed method. This has allowed them to hone in their processing methods, instruct their members on better farm management, and ultimately produce a greater coffee.
